Newable and UMi commits to maximise opportunities for Effective Stewardship of the Environment under delivery of Start Up Loans - Post Loan Support programme through our shared ambition to be sustainable business leaders fighting climate change, by achieving our own green growth and enabling that of mentees, suppliers and communities.

We are also committed to Tackling Workforce Inequality through our shared ambition of being exemplar employers with policies/practices for EDI, applicable to our own workforce, suppliers/communities, extending to our education/inspiration of mentees.

In order to do this we will:

• optimise inputs, reduce outputs and be advocates for sustainability at every opportunity via activities that increase awareness, reduce greenhouse gas emissions to support NetZero by 2030. This plan based on our combined current processes and experience/certifications (i.e. Newable holds Green Mark Level 3. UMi is B-Corp Certified).
• advocate equality in workplace, with our staff, suppliers, mentees and communities as shown in our actions to identify and tackle inequality in employment, skills and pay in contract workforce. Our plan is based on current combined processes and experience/certifications which make Newable 33rd Best London Large Company to Work for and UMi, 33rd best UK Mid-Size Company.
